Religious Education

Goodrich is a large multicultural primary school in one of Inner London's larger boroughs, and pupils learn about aspects of all of the major religions during their time here. In lessons now based on the Hackney Scheme of Work for RE, children learn about Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism and Buddhism over successive units, each building on prior learning. In addition to investigative in-class work, the curriculum is brought to life by visits to places of worship and the long-term involvement of the Spinnaker Trust in teaching about Christianity.

If you are interested to find out more about the school's RE curriculum, contact Bethan Morgan, RE Postholder, via the school office (details below).
